Home League Advantage

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Home League Advantage ("HLA," "we," "us," or "our"). BY USING THIS SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS, PLEASE STOP USING THE SERVICE NOW.
We reserve the right to change these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of HLA after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
1. Description of Service
HLA is a fantasy football auction analytics and draft management platform. The service includes the following core features:
Historical price analysis — HLA stores your league's auction draft history and calculates what your league has paid for players at each positional rank slot across multiple seasons, enabling data-driven price predictions for future drafts.
Consensus rankings integration — HLA displays current and historical expert consensus rankings (ECR) sourced from FantasyPros (operated by Marzen Media LLC) under a data license agreement. These rankings are third-party licensed content, not generated by HLA.
Lineup research tools — users can build, save, and compare draft plans including per-slot budget targets and scenario analysis using historical pricing data.
Live draft day tracking — HLA's Draft Day feature allows users to record auction picks in real time as their league's auction occurs, whether the auction is happening in person, online through Yahoo or another platform, or in any other format. Picks are saved automatically and can be committed to permanent league history when the draft is complete.
Cross-league benchmarking — with your consent, HLA aggregates anonymized pricing data across similar leagues on the platform to provide broader market benchmarks beyond your own league's history.
HLA is offered as an analytics, research, and draft management tool for use in connection with personal fantasy sports leagues. It is not a fantasy sports contest platform and does not involve prizes, entry fees, or wagering of any kind. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service or any of its features at any time with or without notice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use HLA. By using the service you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. HLA may not be used in connection with any form of gambling, wagering, or prize-based contests.
3. Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to maintain and update that information as required. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share your account with any other person. Notify us immediately at info@homeleagueadvantage.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. Our personnel will never ask you for your password.
4. Connecting Third-Party Platforms and Uploading Data
When you connect a fantasy platform account (Yahoo, ESPN, Sleeper) or upload league data manually, you represent and warrant that you have the right to share that data with us — for example, as a member or commissioner of the relevant league. HLA's access to connected platforms is read-only. We do not post, modify, or take any action within your fantasy platform account on your behalf. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any data you upload manually. HLA is not responsible for inaccuracies in pricing or ranking data that result from inaccurate user-submitted data.
5. FantasyPros Rankings — Third-Party Licensed Data
Player consensus rankings displayed in HLA are sourced from FantasyPros (Marzen Media LLC) under a data license. These rankings are the proprietary content of FantasyPros and are made available to HLA users under that license for personal fantasy sports research purposes only. You may not extract, redistribute, resell, or use FantasyPros ranking data for any commercial purpose. FantasyPros rankings are subject to FantasyPros' own Terms of Use available at fantasypros.com. HLA does not guarantee the accuracy of FantasyPros rankings, which are provided by a third party and may change at any time. Rankings are for informational and research purposes only.
6. Conduct on the Service
Your use of HLA is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. You agree that you will not: use HLA for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, our systems, or related networks; use any automated means including bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or collect information from the service without our express written consent; reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the service; upload, share, or distribute any content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable; upload data you do not have the right to share or impersonate any person, entity, or league; sell, resell, reproduce, duplicate, or use for any commercial purposes any portion of the service; or interfere with any other user's use and enjoyment of the service.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account without prior notice for violating any of the above provisions.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF HLA MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO IMMEDIATELY TERMINATE YOUR ACCOUNT AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
7. Cross-League Data Pooling
If you opt in to cross-league data pooling, you consent to your league's anonymized, aggregated auction pricing data being used to calculate and display benchmark statistics to other users of the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only aggregated numbers are ever shared — averages, ranges, and sample sizes. Your league's name, team names, manager names, and individual draft results are never exposed to other users. Pooling only occurs between leagues with matching structural settings. You may opt out at any time in your account settings.
8. Intellectual Property
HLA, including its design, software, branding, and original content, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use HLA for your personal, non-commercial fantasy football planning purposes only. You agree not to sell, resell, reproduce, duplicate, copy, or use for any commercial purposes any portion of the service without our express written consent.
You retain ownership of content you submit such as player notes and custom lineups, but by submitting such content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide right to store, display, and process that content as necessary to operate and improve the service.
FantasyPros consensus rankings displayed in HLA are the licensed property of Marzen Media LLC. NFL statistics, player data, team names, and related information are the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use any trademark, service mark, logo, or name of HLA, FantasyPros, Yahoo, ESPN, Sleeper, the NFL, or any of their respective affiliates.
9. Third-Party Platforms and Data Sources
HLA relies on data and services from third parties including Yahoo Fantasy Sports, ESPN Fantasy Sports, Sleeper, and FantasyPros. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or continued provision of their data or services. Changes to these third-party platforms or their terms of service may affect or interrupt features of HLA. When you connect a third-party platform to HLA, your use of that platform remains subject to its own terms of service and privacy policy.
10. Fees and Payment
HLA currently offers its core features free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid subscription tiers or premium features in the future. If we do, we will provide clear advance notice of pricing and billing terms before charging you.
11. No Guarantee of Accuracy; Research Tool Disclaimer
HLA provides historical pricing data, expert consensus rankings, and analytical tools to assist with personal fantasy football auction draft planning and research. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or predictive value of any pricing data, rankings, or other information shown in the app. Historical pricing trends reflect past behavior in your specific league and similar leagues and are not a guarantee of what any player or positional rank slot will cost in any future draft. Expert consensus rankings are the opinions of third-party analysts and do not constitute fantasy sports advice. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make during your own fantasy football drafts. HLA has no control over real-world player performance, the decisions of other managers in your league, or any other factor affecting your fantasy league outcomes.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE EFFECTIVE, ACCURATE, OR RELIABLE. SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HLA AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THOSE RESULTING FROM LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF HLA SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00). SOME JURISDICTIONS PROHIBIT THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HLA and its operators, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses including reasonable attorneys' fees arising from or related to: your use or misuse of the service; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or any content you submit to the service. Any cause of action brought by you against us must be instituted within one year after the cause of action arises or be deemed forever waived and barred.
15. Termination
You may stop using HLA and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the service with or without notice and for any reason, including without limitation if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. Upon termination your right to use the service ceases immediately.
16. Privacy
Your use of HLA is also governed by our Privacy Policy which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using HLA you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
17. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of HLA at any time without liability. We may also update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or prominent in-app notification before the changes take effect. Continued use of HLA after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States of America, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Illinois and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms together with our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us concerning the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Any failure by us to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future. You may not assign your rights and obligations under these Terms to any party without our consent.
